Took me a minute to set up because the instructions were sparse. If I was not computer savvy, it would have been a challenge! Good sound quality, pricing and product -- I am pleased with this purchase. Previously I was using my iPod on my iPhone in the gym and did not feel comfortable toting that around there or when I was jogging on the street. Very happy with this purchase!!!

Despite all nice features that have been highlighted in previous posts the USB connection just ruins it all... The connector looks like an USB cut in half - probably to iprove portability, try to find a picture of it somewhere to get a better look - so it doesn't perfectly fit into the USB port making the connection very unstable. Sometimes the computer won't recognize it is connected or will interupt the connection in the middle of a tranfer! It can be extremelly annoying. Besides, as computer USB ports are normally side by side and the player is quite a bit larger than a regular pen drive, it is impossible to have anythig else connected beside it, in the other ports.

I decided to start a walking since the weather has been so wonderful this July. My sister has an IPOD that she swears by and my mom has her own little MP3 player. Researching though, they seemed complicated until a cousin of mine bought a $20 "jump drive" style player from Walgreens. I decided that's what I wanted. Something simple. I went to target and found THIS ONE. For the price and the storage compacity and the fact that it's small, and cute-as compared to the other MP3 players sitting there, this one seemed the best. ESPECIALLY because it has built in FM radio. It was cheaper than the ones w/ comparable storage, comparable hook-up but no FM radio.
So heres the thing. I was soooo PROUD AND HAPPY w/ my little player! I showed it to my mom. The upload of music for my little device is easier than hers. I just hook it up to the computer and click on My Music, choose a song and 'send' it to the portable device.
So it's so user FRIENDLY that my mom went from WANTING ONE, to BORROWING MINE, to OWNING MINE. SHE WON'T GIVE IT BACK!! Gotta love her, but now I'm back at square one -with no MP3 player. Oh yeah, we can share and I can ask for it back, but how convenient is that? UGH. frustrating.
And I'm so partial to mine that I can't just go out and buy any ol' MP3 player w/ a jump drive. AND, the last time I went to Target the price on this particular had risen a good $10.
I guess this is more a rant than a review...just know this. It's gotta be pretty dern cool if a parent would take it from their child and make it their own. I used it to listen to MY music, that she otherwise couldn't stand to hear around the house. NOW SHE LOVES MY MUSIC. AND HAS CONFISCATED MY PLAYER.
I'm just s.o.l. So I'm lookin for a good deal. I'm in the market to replace what was taken from me. At a similar price as before of course.
