This is a great little player, and I like that it uses a battery instead of needing to be hooked to the computer to charge it for use. The only that I have a problem with is the usb port and the it not being recognised for loading music onto it less than a year after getting it. I was only able to do load music twice, and luckily, I have over 150 songs already on it when it quit loading music altogether. I'm still able to use it to listen to music, I just can't load any more onto it.

I have had this player for a few weeks now, and I'm pleased so far. I bought it to replace my old one, an off-brand which didn't stand up to the abuse I give it when I'm working. It comes with an instruction manual but I was able to figure out the main features just by playing with it for a few minutes- nice & simple design. The arm band that comes with the Coby player seems to be able to prevent any abuse. The features I most like about it are the different play features like Repeat, Shuffle, etc., the easy access to its controls, and the quality of the sound. I also really like the arm band (even though it's ugly) since it's exactly what I needed. It makes my arm itch a little after a few hours, though!
Some cons (in my opinion): The display of the song/album passes fast and takes a while to go back to the song title; it's kind of annoying for me to wait around to get the name of the song. So far, I haven't been able to rearrange the file locations once they're on the player. All the songs from a certain album are grouped together, so I just listen to it on Shuffle all the time.
The battery cover comes off easily enough, but it is a little hard to get the battery out of the player. I would have liked the battery to last a little longer, but it seems pretty average for similar MP3 players in this category (8-10 hours).
The radio feature doesn't receive good signal, but I don't think you could expect much more from a radio that doesn't have an adjustable antenna. It works fine if you are in one place, but walking around, it loses the signal pretty easily.
All in all, I give this MP3 player 4 stars, and if I ever find a way to rearrange the files, it would get 5 stars. It's just a simple player, easy to use, easy to load songs, and perfect for work or exercise.
